At Envision Eye Centre, we offer SMILE® Pro as a flap-free laser eye procedure for suitable patients with short-sightedness and some astigmatism. This treatment uses the ZEISS VisuMax 800 laser to create a small lenticule inside the cornea, which is removed through a tiny opening to correct refractive error. We see SMILE® Pro as a minimally invasive option that may suit people with active lifestyles who want less reliance on glasses or contact lenses. Our role is to assess your eyes carefully and help determine whether this treatment is the right fit for your vision needs.

At Envision Eye Centre, we offer LASIK as a well-established laser vision correction procedure for suitable patients with short-sightedness, long-sightedness, and astigmatism. In Femto-LASIK, we create a thin flap in the cornea using a femtosecond laser, then reshape the underlying tissue to improve how light focuses in the eye. We offer LASIK as one of several vision correction options because different eyes need different approaches. For many suitable patients, LASIK may reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses, and our job is to guide each person toward the treatment that best matches their eyes and lifestyle.

At Envision Eye Centre, we offer PRK as a flap-free laser eye procedure for suitable patients who may not be ideal for LASIK or SMILE. Instead of creating a flap, we remove the surface layer of the cornea before reshaping the tissue underneath with the laser. PRK can be used to treat short-sightedness, long-sightedness, and astigmatism. We often consider it for patients with thinner corneas or other factors that make a flap-free approach more appropriate. Although recovery is usually slower than LASIK, PRK remains an important part of the treatment options we provide.

PRESBYOND® gently reshapes the cornea to extend your natural range of focus – blending near, intermediate, and distance vision into one seamless experience.
